发明名称 NAVIGATION APPARATUS OF PRESENT POSITION CALCULATION SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform the guidance of the admission road to one's destination at any crossing without fixing a course by calculating the present position by setting the distance from the admission road at a crossing to the terminal crossing of said road as a unit. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of processing modules performing processing necessary for navigation are provided to a navigation processing part 4. When the present position is inputted from an input part 1, the processing part 4 calculates the present position from road system data 6 relating to the road concerned, the data of a distance sensor 2 and the data of a steering angle sensor 3. Further, the residual distance up to a final crossing and the position of said crossing are calculated using a plurality of the sub-modules possessed by a present position tracking module 17. Further, the road of an advance direction is selected at said crossing from the data 6 and the present position is calculated even on said road in the same way. This operation is repeated at every crossing and the guidance of the advance direction to one's destination at every crossing is performed by the display or sound output device of an output part 5.
