PURPOSE:To insert a wire body even into the long small-diameter pipe and to shorten the time for the insertion by distributing a force for moving the wire body forward almost uniformly to the overall length of the wire body. CONSTITUTION:The tip of the wire body 1 is guided into an enclosed container 11 through the airtight part on the entrance side of the enclosed container 11 and inserted into one end of the pipe 5 connected to the exit side of the enclosed container 11 or positioned in front of said end of the pipe 5. Then while the wire body 1 is led into the enclosed container 1 or pushed in, pressurized air is supplied into the enclosed container 11 so that the mean flow velocity of the air at an optional position in the pipe 5 is larger than the forward moving speed of the wire body 1, thereby supplying the pressurized air into the pipe 5 from its end. Then the wire body 1 in process of moving forward in the pipe 5 is made to snake lengthwise positively. Consequently, the wire body 1 is inserted into the long small-diameter pipe 5 in a short time. |
