PURPOSE:To stably and constantly attract recording paper to the opening part of a suction head by disposing a recording paper retaining member opposite to the slit-like opening part of the suction head so that the recording paper can be carried in contact with the slit-like opening part of the suction head. CONSTITUTION:The suction head 30 is arranged downstream of a developing head 12, viewed from the carrying direction of the recording paper 10 when an image is formed. Mainly after color-by-color development ends, the head 30 operates to blot excessive developer adhering to the recording surface of the recording paper 10 when developing heads 12a to 12d are descended. The recording paper retaining member 40 is provided to carry the recording paper 10 so that it is carried close to the front surface of the suction head 30. The recording paper 10 is close to and always in roughly close contact with the slit-like opening part of the suction head 30. Thus, the recording paper 10 is stably attract to the opening part of the suction head 30 even if it is crinkled. |
