PURPOSE:To easily separate optical fibers and a converging material by constituting both or either of a fiber coating material and the converging material of a silicone resin added with a silicone coil. CONSTITUTION:The silicone oil having the different compsn. is added to both or either of the silicone resins of the fiber coating material 2 of the optical fibers 3 and the converging material 4. The added silicone oil bleeds out to the boundary of the converging material 4 and fibers 3 of the optical fiber unit as time passes by. The release property of the converging material 3 and the fibers 3 is thus improved. The fibers 3 and the converging material 4 are easily separated in this way at the time of connecting the optical fibers. |
