PURPOSE: To mount a heating element easily in an ensured way by integrating the heating element in a plate clamped by a cylinder head and an inlet tube, and arranging an electric resistance means in a chamber forming a part of a heat sink. CONSTITUTION: An inlet valve 5 is arranged in an inlet channel 4 formed on a cylinder head 1. An inlet tube 2 with a fuel injector 3 is fixed on the inlet channel 4. A heating element having heat sinks 11, 12 provided with an electric resistance means 16 and current supply means 14, 17, 28, 20 projects into the inlet channel 4. In this structure, the heating element 11-16 is not fitted in thermally insulated manner, and is integrated in a plate 6 which is clamped between the heat of the cylinder 1 and the inlet tube 2. The electric resistance means which is a PTC tablet 16 is arranged inside a chamber 11 forming a part of the heat sink. |
