<p>PURPOSE: To improve sealing performance of a ring valve comprising a valve seat having passage channels arranged in a ring, a valve plate arranging thereupon and a backing plate by forming the valve plate with a plurality of ring plates and a support plate for transferring the force of a spring to the ring plates. CONSTITUTION: A ring valve comprises a valve seat 2 having passage channels 1 arranged in a ring, a backing plate 5 with a space forming an intermediate chamber 4, having a discharge passage 3, arranged on the valve seat 2, and a valve plate 6 arranged in the intermediate chamber 4. The valve plate dampers movement with a damper plate 8 supported on the backing plate 5 via a centering member 7, and is urged downwardly by a spring not shown in the drawing. In this case, the valve plate 6 comprises a plurality of individual ring plates 10 disposed over the passage channels 1 of the valve seat 2 and a support plate 11 lying jointly on all the ring plates 10 on a side thereof facing away from the valve seat 2, and transferring the force of a spring element 18 to the ring plates 10.</p> |
