PURPOSE:To magnify a visual field range in the vicinity of the surface of the body even when electronic sector scanning is performed by mounting a sector scanning control part performing electron sector scanning, a linear scanning control part performing electron linear scanning and a control means for changing both scanning control parts. CONSTITUTION:Either one of sector scanning and linear scanning is selected by a system controller 12 to start scanning. When the first sector rate signal (c) is generated in one frame period T constituting one picture, the first raster is drawn in synchronous relation thereto. Subsequently, when the 65-th linear rate signal (e) is generated in the next timing, the 65-th raster is similarly drawn in synchronous relation thereto. Hereinafter, at each time when the sector rate signal (c) and the linear rate signal (e) are generated in alternate timings, scanning is repeated until the 64-th raster is drawn in the sector scanning and scanning is also repeated until the n-th raster is drawn in the linear scanning. By this method, a sector image wherein the visual field range in the vicinity of the surface body is magnified is obtained. |
