PURPOSE:To perform stable sterilization without damaging capacity and safety from the use aspect of the title apparatus by filling a body fluid treatment member and a casing with ozonized water and sterilizing both of them using gamma-rays in this state. CONSTITUTION:In sterilizing a body fluid treatment apparatus 5, wherein a hollow yarn membrane 6 and a body fluid treatment member such as an adsorbent are received in a casing, using gamma-rays, with respect to a wet type, the bodily fluid treatment apparatus is filled with ozonized water 3 of predetermined concn. at first while, with respect to a dry type, the air in the bodily fluid treatment apparatus is substituted with air containing ozone at predetermined concn. and a cap is mounted to said apparatus to sterilize the same by gamma-rays. As the hollow yarn membrane, a cellulose type, a polyvinyl alcohol type or a polyester type is used and said membrane is received in the casing in a bundled form and both end parts of bundle are fixed by a support member such as a urethane resin. A body fluid introducing port is provided to one end part of the casing and a bodily fluid lead-out part is provided to the other end part thereof and the access port of a dyalysing fluid or blood is provided to the side part thereof. |
