<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the winding-round of a tape on a cylinder from occurring by detecting the winding-round of the tape on the cylinder by an optical detector, and stopping the cylinder by controlling a cylinder servo circuit. CONSTITUTION:The optical detector 12 is provided on a circumferential side plane outside the tape winding area of the cylinder 1. The optical detector 12 is operated so as to receive reflected light from the plane of the cylinder 1 by irradiating the confronting planes of the cylinder 1 by light, and since different light quantities of the reflected light can be detected based on whether or not the tape exists on the plane of the cylinder 1, the detector outputs a discrimination signal corresponding to the above status. The cylinder servo circuit 8 is operated so as to apply brake on a cylinder motor 7 when the discrimination signal of the optical detector 12 shows the presence of the tape. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the winding-round of the tape 3 on the cylinder 1 from occurring.</p> |
