PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION AND PHOTOPOLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION USING SAME

摘要

PURPOSE:To make a photosensitive compsn. sensitive at a desired wavelength in visible and near infrared spectra and to obtain satisfactory thermal and shelf stabilities by using a dye having a prescribed reduction potential to a trihalomethyl-S-triazine activator as a photosensitizer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive compsn. contg. a trihalomethyl-S-triazine activator and a specified photosensitizer and a photopolymerizable compsn. using the photosensitive compsn. are obtd. A dye whose reduction potential is higher than that of the trihalomethyl-S-triazine activator by <=0.10V on the positive side is used as the photosensitizer. Optical free radicals can be generated at a desired wavelength in visible and near infrared spectra.
