<p>PURPOSE:To execute the temperature compensation of a transducer at the time of attaching a pressure dome by giving the variation quantity of a temperature coefficient of the whole system which is brought on by an average pressure dome and a temperature coefficient in the opposite direction at the time of manufacturing the transducer. CONSTITUTION:A pressure measuring instrument is constituted of a pressure dome D, a transducer T and a bridge circuit B containing a temperature compensating means. The pressure dome D has a cavity C therein, and the cavity C is sealed up hermetically by a film M. When the pressure dome D is attached appropriately to the transducer T, its film M adheres tightly to an active surface S of the transducer T, and the pressure variation of a fluid in the cavity C is applied to a pressure response impedance Z which the transducer T has. In this state, by connecting an average pressure dome with the transducer T and adjusting a temperature coefficient TC of the transducer T by a resistor Rx, a comprehensive temperature coefficient TC at the time when the pressure dome is attached can be set to about '0'.</p> |
