An anti-theft device for motor vehicles with steering wheel and steering column gear lever comprises a rod member (4) lockable to both steering wheel and gear lever, the rod member comprising two rods (41, 42) turnably connected via a pivot (43). The rods are shaped to form openings (60, 70) between them in two axially separated positions, in which openings a part of the steering wheel and the gear lever, respectively, can be enclosed when the rods are placed against each other and locked by means of a locking device (44-47). |
