PURPOSE:To eliminate unnecessary display on the photographed image of an object by providing either a character superimposing circuit for an image pickup monitor or a character superimposing circuit for an observing monitor in an endoscopic system. CONSTITUTION:A part observed by an endoscope 22 is inputted in a video process 41 as an image signal, corrected and converted into composite video signals in an NTSC system, etc. One of the signals passes through the character superimposing circuit 42 and is outputted to an observing monitor 24 and the other is directly outputted to the image pickup monitor 46 without superimposing character. By depressing the switch 43 of a controller 23, a release signal is outputted to a counter 45 and a camera control part 48 through a computation circuit 44. The control part 48 performs the opening and closing of a shutter and the winding of film. The value of the counter 45 is inputted in the computation circuit 44 by a transmitter 52 and a receiver 53 and the counted value is superimposed on an observed image and displayed on the monitor 24 as the display 50 of the film frame number after passing through the character superimposing circuit 42. Since only the image of the object is displayed on the monitor 46 and unnecessary frame number is not displayed in such a constitution, only the image of the object which is necessary to be recorded can be photographed. |
