<p>PURPOSE:To print a multi gradation image at high speed without complicating a signal processing system by a method wherein a plurality of electroluminescence elements corresponding to recording parts are selectively actuated to be emitted according to image density information of each recording part. CONSTITUTION:For a head proper 2, a plurality of side emitting electroluminescence elements 4a to 4c composing a recording part K for each pixel are provided, and emission is selectively actuated according to image density by an image control means 5. Intensity of radiation light from a light radiation opening 3 is varied at multi-stages according to the image density, and irradiates a photosensitive material 1 to form a latent image. In that case, fatigue degree of the photosensitive material 1 is detected by a fatigue detection means 6. An emission intensity regulation means 7 gives fatigue degree information to the image control means 5, varies emission intensity from each EL element 4a to 4c, and keeps a latent image electric potential corresponding to each image density information, i.e. development density almost constant. Thus, a multi gradation image can be printed at high speed without complicating a signal processing system.</p> |
