PURPOSE:To enhance the S/N, sharpness and tone reproducibility of a thermally developable color photosensitive material by incorporating a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:A compd. represented by formula I is incorporated into a photosensitive material contg. photosensitive silver halide, a binder, a nondiffusible dye providing compd. (A) which releases a diffusibile dye when reduced, and electron donor and an electron transferring agent. In the formula I, each of R1 and R2 is H, (substd.) alkyl, etc., and each of R3-R5 is, hydroxyl, etc. A compd. represented by formula II may be used as the compd. represented by formula I. A compd. represented by formula III may be used as the compd. A. In the formula III, X is O, S, etc., R<104> is a group of atoms forming a desired hetero ring, EAG is a group accepting an atom from a reducing substance, Time is a group releasing Dye (dye) through a subsequent reaction and t is 0 or 1. |
