PURPOSE:To manufacture a smooth and beautiful sheet at a high speed, by a method wherein imparting of electric charge to a surfaces of a molten resin sheet and a cooling roller is carried into effect under a specific condition, the imparting of the electric charge to the surface of the cooling roller is performed through a plurality of electrodes and an electric insulation coating of the surface of the cooling roller is provided with a specific electric and physical conditions. CONSTITUTION:When thermoplastic resin sheet 10 is extruded through a T-die 1, the sheet 10 is electrified negatively with an electrode 3. Then after quenching of the sheet 10 by sticking close to a cooling roller 2, the sheet 10 is peeled off from the surface of the cooling roller 2 by a peeling roller 11. Electric charge of reverse polarity to an electrified electric charge through peeling is imparted to the surface of the cooling roller 2 electrified through the peeling, in an electrode 4 for elimination of static electricity provided on the upper part of the surface of the cooling roller 2 on a peeling roller side. An electric charge of reverse polarity to the first electrode 3 is imparted to an electrode 5 for reverse electrification provided on the upper part of the surface of the cooling roller 2 on a side of the position, with which the sheet 10 comes into contact. Thus a smooth and beautiful sheet can be manufactured at a high speed. |
