Arrangement for the temp. measurement in a heating system comprises a cooking pan with food placed on a hotplate by which the temp. of the food in the cooking pan is measured. The cooking pans (10,10') are provided with circular surrounding radiating surfaces (12,12') in the transition area from the bottom (11,11') of the cooking pans and the pan wall. A radiation sensor (30) with focusing device is orientated to the hotplate (21,23) and is arranged at a distance to the radiating surface which corresponds to the distance between the neck (35) in the radiation measuring field of the radiation sensor and the inlet surface (31) of the radiation sensor.
