PURPOSE:To improve the strength of a molded piece by aligning and holding heated sheet material, each by using a needle-like unit, sequentially laminating the sheet material on sheet placing means, and then performing its press mold ing. CONSTITUTION:A sheet placing unit 3 is temporarily stopped each time a sheet placing member 40 is disposed at a position vertically directly under each sheet material X, the material X vertically above it is separated from a styluslike unit 28 of a holder 2 at the time of stopping, dropped, and sequentially laminated on the member 40. The unit 3 on which all the materials X are laminated is further moved and stopped when it is disposed vertically directly under a tray 6. The tray 6 is supported to the supporting rod 66 of the unit 3. Thereafter, the unit 3 is moved together with the tray 6 into a metal mold T, stopped at a position for charging the material X, and the material X is dropped to a charging position on a lower metal mold TL along guide plates 46a, 46b. The material X charged into the mold T is press molded by the mold. |
