<p>A flexible cone shaped package, e.g. for ice cream, is moved along a transporter (1) with support rim (2) in which the filled cone shaped package (3) of e.g. aluminium foil is passed along the different working stations. In the first station (4), a round cardboard lid (5) retained by a suction cap (6) is placed into the cone, such that cone rim slightly protrudes. In a second station a warm adhesive is applied by a reciprocating nozzle mechanism (8) to the outer rim of the lid. In a final folding station, a so-called crimper with die (11), finally positions and seals the lid.</p> |
