PURPOSE:To detect a code timing directly from a reception signal with simple constitution by modulating reception signal by a modulation signal including a compensating shoed noise so as to apply the control making the phase of a specific frequency component observed only when the synchronization with the reference shoed noise is obtained with that of a chip clock coincident with each other. CONSTITUTION:A shoed noise generator 12 of a spread spectrum receiver of the direct spread modulation system generates the reference shoed noise PNR and the compensation shoed noise PNC by a clock CLK supplied from a clock controller 10. The noise signals PNC, PNR are modulated at balanced modulators 14, 15 by using a local frequency signal fLOCALK and modulated with a reception signal from an antenna 22, a BPF 24 and an amplifier 26 at balanced modulators 18, 20. The signal from the modulator 18 is used as a reference signal REF and fed back to the controller 10, a signal from the modulator 20 is outputted as an output signal and the code timing is directly from the reception signal. |
