PURPOSE:To improve the precision of the titled test by a constitution wherein a shock shaft having a shock edge in the lower end is provided in a machine frame in such a manner that it can be moved up and down freely, and said shock shaft can be moved up and down repeatedly by a rotatable pawl. CONSTITUTION:In a shock fatigue testing apparatus, a shock shaft 1 having a shock edge 2 in the lower end is provided in a machine frame 18 in such a manner that it can be moved up and down freely. Moreover, this shock shaft 1 can be moved repeatedly by a rotatable pawl 5. At the upper end of the shock shaft 1, a counterpoise 13 is supported on a counterpoise support 14, and a spring 16 of a coil spring type is provided at a spring fixing member 15' located in the lower part of the end of the projection of the counterpoise support 14, so that a forced dropping power is given to the shaft 1. By this constitution, the frequency of shocks per unit time can be increased remarkably, and the test of high precision can be performed with ease. |
