PURPOSE:To obtain good electromagnetic dumping by a method wherein three superconductive electromagnets are arranged in a truck and the interval between each truck is reserved as long as one magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:A truck 2B is mounted on a car body 1 through two air springs 4. Three superconductive electromagnets of NSN are provided at the truck 2B and the superconductive electromagnets on these two trucks 2B are arranged with the interval which can accommodate one S pole between each truck. This can provide a change in average magnetic flux intensity which is equal to that of truck structure continuously arranging superconductive electromagnets and electromagnetic dumping which is equal to that of truck structure arranging superconductive electromagnets with intervals.
