Procedure for obtaining a creamy product for forming a skin-protecting layer, which consists of a prior phase of homogenization of a mixture of liquid paraffin, stearin and lanolin, which is subjected, with stirring, to a heating process until it reaches its liquid phase, and preheated water, between 30 and 60 degrees C, is then added to said reactive base; subsequently, after cooling to ambient temperature, an emulsifying-disinfecting agent, sodium benzoate for example, will be added, and lastly a perfuming agent will be added. The product so obtained must be protected from oxidation until it is used; this creamy product can be used to form a layer for protection of the hands, preventing them from being soiled or contaminated with the products handled, in trades such as painters, housewives, mechanics and the like.
