Stapling machine consisting of a bed, the work platform, the pedal and transmission for displacement of the movable block, the staple supplier, with device for lowering and guiding the staples, the lever and cam device for closing the staple and the lateral device for the regular spacing of the staples. The movable block is pressed downwards by two springs, giving rise to vertical movement through the action of the pedal. The descent of the staple, duly guided, is effected by a plate impelled by the rack which meshes with a toothed wheel which rotates through the action of an external lever. Parallel rollers of a length identical to the width of the staple guide the descent of the latter. Closure of the lower ends of the staples is effected by means of two cams arranged symmetrically with respect to an impulsion device which ascends, moved by a cam which is coaxial with the axis of a manually actuated crank.
