<p>PURPOSE:To perform high speed synchronized pull-in by combining a code sequence using transmitting signal, said code sequence being used in a receiver, and a code sequence which orthogonally crosses said code sequence when a signal which is formed by two-phase quadrature modulation at 0 and pi is received. CONSTITUTION:A modulating code sequence 89 which is the output of a modulating code sequence generator 88 and a demodulating first code sequence 71 which is the output of a demodulating code-sequence generator 70 has the symmetric property shown by the Expression I. When Fourier expansion is performed, a code sequence 89a (71a) is obtained. Meanwhile, a demodulating second code sequence 73 which is the code sequence that crosses the demodulating first code sequence 71 at a right angle required for the synchronizing signal is selected so as to have the symmetrical property as shown in the Expression II. The sequences 73 is the output of the demodulating code sequence generator 70. When the Fourier expansion is performed, a code sequence (73a) is obtained. An output 25 of a multiplying detector 24 becomes the value shown by the Expression II. An S characteristic which is symmetrical to the point zero is obtained. High speed synchronized pull-in can be performed by a sharp inclination in the vicinity of the point zero of the S characteristic.</p> |
