PURPOSE:To hold a constant state stably and to reduce the size of the optical switch by providing a switching tool which moves one stage laterally as to an optical axis, and a rotating tool which moves the other stage in the opposite direction by being pressed by the moved stage nearby the stages. CONSTITUTION:When the switching tool 4 is fallen down to the left, a rotating tool 5 is pressed downward to the right by the tip of a switching pin 8, a table 2 is pressed down by the contact 5a of the rotating tool to move in the same direction, and the fiber terminal 3a of a table 1 and the fiber terminal 3b of the right table 2 face each other and are coupled optically. When the switching tool 4 is fallen down to the right, a rotating tool 5 is pressed downward to the left by the tip of the switching pin 8, the table 1 is pressed down by the contact 5b of the rotating tool 5 to move in the same direction, and the fiber terminal 3a of the left table 1 and the optical fiber terminal 3c of the right table 2 face each other and are coupled optically. Namely, the fiber terminals which are coupled optical are switched by changing the falling direction of the switching tool 4. Consequently, the constant state is held for a long period and the size is reducible. |
