PURPOSE:To improve high sensitivity, durability and above all, potential stability at the time of durable use by using a specific disazo pigment in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The disazo pigment expressed by formula I is incorporated into the photosensitive layer formed on a conductive base. In formula I, A, A' denote a residual coupler group having a phenolic hydroxyl group. The electrophotographic sensitive body which is stable to heat and light and has excellent carrier generating power is obtd. in this way and is usable in all existing electrophotographic processes. The practicably high sensitivity and the stable potential characteristic in repetitive use are thus obtd. |
