In addition to the main windows where figures appear and which in specific combinations are the subject of a prize, and an auxiliary window, said machines comprise another two, quadrangular windows which are connected to the auxiliary window from which they receive a specific figure, a prize being obtained each time one of these windows is filled with images. It is the aim of the present improvements to direct the player towards the prize column in which a prize-winning play will first occur. To this end, provision has been made on the front of the machine for an indicator region formed by a variety of elements which can be illuminated independently, each one of which is illuminated when a non-prize-winning play takes place, the column with the next prize-winning play being illuminated intermittently when the entire indicator region is illuminated. <IMAGE>
