PURPOSE:To obtain a medical material which possesses the superior antithrombosis performance by previously introducing the prescribed functional groups onto a basic material and partially processing Haparin to form the primary amino compound by the desulfurization of the N-sulfuric acid part and joining the functional groups of the basic material and Heparin directly or through coupling agents. CONSTITUTION:A medical material which is prepared by fixing Heparin onto a basic material is used as antithrombosis material. In this material, the functional group (primary amino group) which is introduced onto the basic material through a compound containing hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA) and methyl methacrylate(MMA) and the primary amino group of Heparin are covalent- bonded directly or through coupling agents. Further, Heparin is the primary amino compound after the desulfurization of a part of the N-sulfuric acid group, and HEMA and MMA exist in separation to each segment, and the functional group exists in the segment consisting of HEMA. |
