PURPOSE:To improve the gas permeability of an inner sole and improve the fitness to foot by heating an inner sole material formed with felt composed of specific mixed raw materials in a heating environment and then, pressurizing and cooling same while in a heated condition by means of a cooling mold. CONSTITUTION:A raw material 2 is laminated on top of a felt type body 1 composed of the mixed raw materials of a low melting point synthetic fiber and a high melting point synthetic fiber, an the felt type material 1 is cut to form an inner sole material 2. Immediately after heating the inner sole material 3 in a heating environment, the inner sole material 3 is pressurized and cooled by means of a cooling mold 6 consisting of a top force 4 and a bottom force 5, and formed into a shape having a top face 7 which is fitted to the bottom face of a foot, to complete an inner sole 8. Thereupon, the inner sole of footgear of a scuff, etc., having good gas permeability while having good fitness to foot can be easily manufactured. Also, a product having very good moldability while hardly causing deformation can be surely manufactured. |
