<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a compact varistor subject to less delay due to RC by a method wherein superconductive film layers and other film layers to be electric barriers are alternately laminated to form electrodes on opposite superconductive film layers of the laminated structure. CONSTITUTION:An Ag electrode 2 on the substrate side is formed on a zirconia sheet by evaporating silver. A ceramic superconductor layer 3''' is formed on the electrode 2 by coating the electrode 2 with superconductor to be baked. Secondary, a ceramic barrier layer 4'' is formed on the layer 3''' by sputtering process. The superconductor layers-barrier layers are repeatedly formed in specified numbers by repeating said procedures so that the surface of the final superconductor layer 3 may be coated with indium-gallium alloy to form one side electrode 5.</p> |
