PURPOSE:To control execution or stop of a monitor program to realize a computer system of high safety by comparing the password number stored in a storage medium with the discrimination number of the computer system. CONSTITUTION:When the power source of the computer system is turned on or the computer system is reset, a monitor start program 6 is operated to check whether a magnetic card is set to a magnetic card reader 4 or not. When it is not set, a magnetic card is set. When it is set, the password number is read and is compared with the discrimination number of the computer system. When they coincide with each other, a monitor program 2 is started. When they do not coincide with each other, an operator is requested to set another magnetic card. Since the computer system does not rise when the discrimination number and the password number do not coincide with each other, the system of high safety is obtained. |
