<p>PURPOSE:To inspect an overhead transmission line without applying load onto an overhead earth wire by fixing monitor unit to a balloon then moving the balloon along the overheat earth wire while mooring the balloon to the overhead earth wire. CONSTITUTION:An inspector 10 is fixed to an overhead earth wire 21A and moved along an overhead earth wire 21A through propulsion of a propeller propulsion unit 16 while being floated through buoyancy of a balloon 11, thus photographying the condition of an overhead transmission line through a television camera 17. When the inspector 10 arrives to a steel tower 22, the balloon 11 passes through the steel tower 22 through a series of operation, i.e., opening of a second rear holding member 14B, rotary motion of a first front foot body 12A (the balloon 11 rotates around the first foot body 12A), holding of an overhead earth wire 21B at the tip of the steel tower 22 with a second holding member 14B, opening of the first holding member 14A, rotary motion of the second foot body 12B (the balloon 11 rotates around the second foot body 12B) and holding of the overhead earth wire 21B beyond the second holding member 14B with the first holding member 14B.</p> |
