PURPOSE:To enable a simple and sure branching operation in a brancher of side wall parallel moving type, in a superconductive magnetic floating railway vehicle running in a U-shaped guide way, by moving a wedge-shaped double-face side wall having linear and branch-curve-shaped side walls in a width direction. CONSTITUTION:On the top face of a brancher bed 2 of U-shaped guide way having linear and branch-curve-shaped side face side walls 1 elected, grooves crossing the guide way vertical to the linear way are formed at proper distances. In these grooves, a traction boggie 5 is stored so as to move freely, and a both face side wall 6 having at its both right and left sides linear and branch- curve-shaped side wall faces are fastened and placed thereonto. Both ends of the boggie 5 are connected by means of a conveyor chain 7 passing in a circle under the bed 2, and the double-face side wall 6 is moved by rotating the chain 7 by means of a motor with a decelerator through a sprocket 8, so that selection of advance way is made. |
