PURPOSE:To emit enough quantity of flashing light and to properly expose even for high-speed and continuous photographing operation by providing a flashing discharge tube, plural main capacitors trigger capacitors and a means for selecting and using them. CONSTITUTION:A switch control circuit 38 closes switches 32A-32C, charges main capacitors 22A-22C and trigger capacitors 40A-40C and opens switches 32A-32C. In first photographing operation, the circuit 38 closes the switches 32A, 34A and 44A, uses the main capacitors 22A for a flashing current and uses the capacitors 40A for a trigger current. Then, the switches 32B, 34B and 44B and the switches 32C, 34C and 44C are orderly selected and closed in second and third photographing operations respectively and the flashing discharge tube 24 can be emitted at intervals of short time. Besides, the frequency of continuous photographing operations can be increased by increasing the number of sets of the switch and the capacitor. |
