PURPOSE:To improve the rigidity of a tire case and drive stability without increasing tire weight by making the lower section of the block located outside most out of a large number of blocks formed on a tread hang down to a specific position. CONSTITUTION:The tread 1 of a tire is divided into a number of blocks 4 by a number of grooves 2. In this case, the position 3 of the lower section of the block 4 in the layer located outside most in the axial direction is ar ranged being made to hang down from a bead base section 6 to the range of from 1/3H to 2/3H of the vertical distance H between a position 5 of the widest section of the tire and the bead base section. This improves the rigidity of a tire case without increasing tire weight, which enhances the drive stability and cushion ability when driving at a corner. |
