The invention relates to a process for producing building boards which have a flexible base layer (1) and a mineral plaster substrate (3). To simplify and reduce the cost of the production of such building boards, and also to improve the adherence of the layers (1, 3) to one another, the invention proposes anchoring the plaster substrate (3) in a punctiform manner by depressions (2) provided in the base layer (1). This takes place by the plaster substrate (3), applied in a liquid or pasty state to the base layer (1), filling the depressions (2). Once the plaster substrate (3) has solidified, it is bonded virtually undetachably to the base layer (1). It is also recommendable to embed a reinforcement (4) into the plaster substrate (3). <IMAGE>
