PURPOSE:To obtain a powdery insecticide resistant to decomposition of the insecticidal component, exhibiting quick effect and having excellent properties of powder by compounding a pyrethroid-type and carbamate-type insecticidal components with isopropyl acid phosphate and a sorbitan fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:The objective powdery insecticide contains (A) 0.05-3.0wt.% of one or more insecticidal components comprising pyrethroid-type insecticidal component (e.g., d-tetramethrin) and carbamate-type insecticidal component (e.g., carbaryl), (B) 0.2-5.0wt.% of isopropyl acid phosphate and (C) 0.05-0.1wt.% of a sorbitan fatty acid ester (e.g., sorbitan trioleate). Clay, talc, kaolinite, etc., can be used as inorganic carrier for the above powdery insecticide. |
