PURPOSE:To fixedly adhere end portions of a sheet rapidly without breaking said sheet by overlapping, onto a lower surface of said sheet where end portions of said flexible vinyl chloride sheet are butted, an applying portion of an adhesive tape of a metal foil where an adhesive agent is applied, applying an electromagnetic induction current and heating the same. CONSTITUTION:End portions of flexible vinyl chloride sheets 1, 2 which are to be formed into an elongated floor material are butted as in a connecting portion 4. Then, an adhesive tape 3 obtained by applying an adhesive agent onto one surface of a metal foil is overlapped onto the lower surface of the sheets 1, 2, at the side of the adhesive agent. Then, an electromagnetic induction current is applied to the adhesive tape 3 by an electromagnetic induction heater 5 from above the sheets to heat the same. Consequently, the adhesive agent on the metal foil is melted, whereby the end portion 4 and the lower surface of the sheets 1, 2 are adhered to the adhesive agent. Thus, the adhesive agent can be rigidly fixed to a predetermined material instataneously in several seconds through thermal melting thereof. |
