The invention relates to a substructure for the fastening of elongate panels, profiled in an essentially U-shaped manner in cross-section, on a floor, wall or similar surface of a structure, having load-bearing rails which run at a distance from one another transversely with respect to the panels, whose upper load-bearing-rail part, for fastening purposes, is adapted in shape to the shape of a respective heating appliance and whose lower load-bearing-rail part is widened to form flanges which are parallel to the surface of the structure and are intended for the abutment of longitudinal borders integrally formed at the ends of the U-legs of the panels. In order to simplify the mounting and demounting and to improve the heat transmission (the heat radiation), the invention proposes that on the flanges of the load-bearing rails there be provided lugs which form, with legs which are essentially parallel to the flanges or are directed obliquely downwards, slots with mutually facing openings, and that the panel longitudinal borders pushed into the slots be clamped fixedly, over a large surface area, between the legs of the lugs and the flanges. |
