PURPOSE:To realize an economic power rate by feeding power corresponding to the difference between the necessary power for a load and a commercial power from an engine generator. CONSTITUTION:AC commercial power PA is fed from an AC commercial power source 1 to a rectifier 2 and rectified power is fed to a load. AC power PB of an engine generator 3 is also rectified through a rectifier 4 and fed in parallel to the load. The load of the AC commercial power source is detected through a current detector 12, and when it exceeds over a reference power Po set in a setter S1 the difference is fed, as a command generation amount, to the engine generator 3 and an engine generator start command is provided through an OR gate 18. When the AC commercial power source 1 does not produce an output, a voltage detector 16 detects the fact and provides an engine start command through the OR gate 18. |
