RECOMBINANT DNA CONTAINING CELLULASE GENE

摘要

PURPOSE:To simply produce a heat resistant cellulase derived from a heat resistant and anaerobic bacterium by synthesizing a recombinant DNA obtained by integrating DNA carrying genetic information of heat resistant cellulase derived from heat resistant and anaerobic bacterium into a vector. CONSTITUTION:A vector obtained by integrating DNA carrying a genetic information of heat resistant cellulase derived from a heat resistant and anaerobic bacterium is introduced into Escherichia coli to provide Clostridium sp.-F-1 (FERM P-10130). The F-1 bacterium is cultured in GS culture medium containing 1% xylan and 1.5% agar to produce the heat resistant cellulase derived from heat resistant and anaerobic bacterium. The cellulase derived from heat resistant and anaerobic bacterium whose culture conditions were complicated hitherto can be produced using Escherichia coli capable of readily culturing by adapting this method.
