Semiconductor module for fast switching arrangement

Electrical semiconductor switching module for a switching arrangement with switching times of the order of 100 ns and high currents. The switching arrangement has a parallel circuit of active semiconductor circuit elements and diodes, placed immediately next to each other, with a load connection of semiconductor circuit element and diode such that current flows through the semiconductor circuit element and diode, relative to the load connection, in the same direction. The terminals for the constant voltage potential are formed with conductors spatially close to each other. On at least one electrically insulating substrate board, there are a plurality of semiconductor circuit elements and diodes, which are connected on the load side to a conducting layer assigned to the load connection on the surface of the substrate board. The constant voltage source can be connected via two parallel conducting layers passed through an insulating layer. It can also be connected via four-core symmetrical wires in which conductors lying opposite one another in each case are connected to one pole of the constant voltage source.
