PURPOSE:To simultaneously observe body pictures and to improve the property of diagnosing by respectively displaying pictures stored in respective frame memories on respective dual display screens and simultaneously displaying the pictures of continuous time phases. CONSTITUTION:When dual display is designated by a prescribed panel operation, since the picture data of a bank, for which data reading is currently designated, are already stored in frame memories 213 and 215, first, a switch 223 is turned off by a frame memory writing control part 227. Next, the designation of the reading bank of a picture data storing part 205 is updated for one (either +1 or -1), the read picture data are written through a switch 225 to the frame memory 215, and after that, the switch 225 is turned off. The picture data of the continuous time phases are stored in the frame memories 213 and 215, and for example, B mode pictures 323 and 325 of the continuous time phases are simultaneously displayed on respective dual display screens 313 and 315 correspondingly to the respective stored data of the frame memories 213 and 215. |
