Method for the fitting of injection elements into an end wall at an axial interval from the front combustion chamber wall of a dual-fuel rocket engine, each side of which end wall is acted upon by one of the fuel constituents to be kept separate from one another, in which the injection elements are inserted into the wall in the direction of flow, bear positively on this and are connected thereto by means of an additional material such as, for example, solder. The bores passing through the end wall and the shanks and the bearing surfaces on the feet of the injection elements are only machined relatively roughly, the bores are at most approximately three tenths of a millimetre wider in diameter than the shanks, the injection elements are aligned and fixed from their outlet side by means of an adjusting and clamping device, at least during the joining process. After joining, the end wall and the feet of the injection elements are coated on the admission side with a smooth, relatively thick, sealing surface coat, if necessary serving as corrosion protection. <IMAGE>
