<p>PURPOSE:To generate more natural voices, by silencing an optional part of a data which should generate voices for an optional period of time. CONSTITUTION:A procedure to read keys or its display and a procedure to work on the basis of a program written into an RAM are previously written in an ROM. The RAM contains an area where the program, data and flag are stored and stores the positions of each single sound of a character train following a VOICE command. A voice generator VS is provided with a voice synthesizer and an amplifier and converts the audio data led out of a CPU into audio signals to supply them to a speaker SP. The CPU performs various controls based on the procedure written previously to the ROM for the key reading, a display CRT, the generator VS, etc.</p> |
