PURPOSE:To improve the returning of oil, by forcibly returning the oil accumulated on a bottom plate to an oil pan through a circulative air flow generated by utilizing pulsating pressure. CONSTITUTION:A hole 25 equipped with a check valve 24 opened by positive pressure is drilled to the bottom of a bottom plate 19 in an air-tightly formed crank chamber 22a, and an air circulative system line via the plate 19 is formed between the chamber 22a and oil pan 3. Accordingly, at operation of an engine, the valve 24 is opened by positive pressure of pulsating air in the chamber 22a to discharge air to the oil pan 3 via the hole 25. This discharge action forcibly returns oil, which lubricates a crankshaft journal part, piston and cylinder sliding part, etc. in the crank chamber to drop and accumulate in a recess 23 of the plate 19, to the oil pan 3 with the air. |
