The abrasive element is furthermore characterised in that the temperature barrier consists of a temperature-resistant foam, sponge rubber, cellular caoutchouc, synthetic nonwoven or woven fabric, which insulates the temperature, and of a flame-laminable and adhesively bondable polyester or polyethylene foam.
