Automatic plant watering device - has float operated needle valve for supply line to space between water container and plant trough

Inside a water container (1) is fitted a trough (3) contg. plants to be watered. Permanently connected to the container is a water supply line with a branch connection (9) for a needle valve (11) controlling the supply of water to the container. A float (13) inside the container controls the water level. The trough seals the open top of the container, leaving an internal water filled space for the float. This also ensures that rain water does not overfill the container. ADVANTAGE - The device ensures that the correct amt of water is supplied to unattended plants on e.g. a balcony.
