摘要 PURPOSE:To synthesize a material, for example, in an ultrahigh temp. region by mounting a light introducing member for introducing light into a high pressure container from the outside to the high pressure container in an airtight manner and providing an internal optical system for condensing the emitted light from the light introducing member in a normal line direction. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus for introducing light energy into the high pressure gaseous atmosphere received in a high pressure container 1 to condense the same to the object to be treated in said atmosphere, a light introducing member 2 (e.g., quartz) for introducing light into the high pressure container 1 from the outside is mounted to the constitutional member of the high pressure container 1 in an airtight state. An internal optical system 9 (e.g., combination lens of three lenses 10-12) constituted so that the emitted light from the light introducing member 2 is emitted in the normal line direction of the emitting surface and subsequently condensed at the interface with a high pressure medium without bringing about refracting action is provided. As a result, stable condensing generating no variation of a light path becomes possible and, for example, in the growth of a crystal under a high gas pressure due to the condensing of laser beam, the synthesis of a material in an ultrahigh temp. region impossible heretofore becomes possible.
